And after I started to make the furniture in 3Ds max.
I simply created the table from many boxes and some tubes, converted al the figures to editable poly making some shape corrections and finally, clicking the right click of the mouse selected attach so, the table appeared as one whole figure.
Later on, I was making a bench with the same modelling technique, attaching all the parts.
The furniture is ready, the only thing left is to apply appropriate material and clone as copy to have a class full of school furniture.
